What issue is being addressed?

Non-profit organizations and philanthropy are vital contributors to India’s development story. As key partners to the government, institutions, and communities – they are driving transformative change for underserved and vulnerable communities across issues and geographies. However, there exists a significant gap in research and data within the non-profit and philanthropic ecosystem. Current data is fragmented, with various entities examining the sector from their unique perspectives, often resulting in siloed insights and a lack of comprehensive understanding in identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities effectively. The absence of a consolidated and holistic narrative hampers effective decision-making. Furthermore, the spectrum of insights and perspectives from communities and non-profit organizations remains under-represented in the mainstream.
