Dasra (registered as ‘Impact Foundation India), means ‘enlightened giving’ in Sanskrit, and was formed in 1999 as an NGO for NGOs to help non-profits improve their implementation of programs. Driven by our mission – to transform India, where a billion thrive with dignity and equity – Dasra collaborates with various central and state ministries, individuals, foundations and corporates, to strengthen partnerships between civil society and government, and ensure India achieves its sustainable development goals for all its citizens. We have a sector focus on empowering adolescents and transforming urban sanitation.
